to The Churches of
Caldecote, Northill and Old Warden
CNOW for short…
We serve the villages of Caldecote, Northill and Old Warden, along with Ickwell and some surrounding villages in Bedfordshire, just to the west of Biggleswade.
CNOW is part of the Diocese of St Albans in the Church of England.
We are Anglican Churches, but we are so much more. We are a loving, caring, diverse family that includes, accepts, embraces and encourages equality for everyone. We value each and every member of our community, and we are committed to creating a space where everyone feels accepted and valued.
Our mission is to bring to our wider community the love, care, and encouragement we give each other through the Christian life that we share.
Worship in CNOW
Our worship is varied. Some of it is very traditional. Some of it is very contemporary. All of it is structured, but not rigid. We worship with a light touch and are prayerful, offering a warm welcome with spiritual nurture at our centre. We are caring and sharing, having fun together, while keeping our focus on God and Jesus, the Word made Flesh, as revealed in Scripture.
If this sounds like the place where you would feel spiritually at home, then come along.
On Sundays, we meet at
8.45 a.m. in St Leonard’s, Old Warden
9:45 a.m. in All Saint’s, Upper Caldecote
11.15 a.m. in St MaryVirgin, Northill
We also meet on Thursdays
9.30 a.m. in The Church Hall, Sand Lane, Northill
10.30 am in All Saint’s, Upper Caldecote

We Promote A Safer Church
For further information, please see our Safeguarding Page.
If you would like to contribute to making our benefice even safer, we have a vacancy for a Safeguarding Officer.
This is a purely voluntary position, but it comes with the immense satisfaction of knowing that you are helping us keep everyone safe, thus fulfilling God’s command to love others as we love ourselves.
The position will require an Enhanced Safeguarding Check and training, which the Church will pay for
The only time commitment involved is taking the training and keeping up-to-date. On a week-to-week basis, there is minimal involvement – just being on call should anyone need to reach out to us.
If this is something you feel you could contribute to, please talk to the Vicar in the first instance on 01462 549028.
Just So You Know…
